Mt Wellington
A series of improvements are tentatively planned for beyond 2019 – although investigation, and confirmation to go ahead with them, could occur earlier.
These improvements are subject to full investigation.
They may include:
- Pakuranga Bridge duplication
- Extending the new Mt Wellington Highway-Fraser Road link to William Harvey Place, to Van Dammes Lagoon
- Work on Mt Wellington Highway including the intersection of Waipuna Road and Mt Wellington Highway, and a new link road to Waipuna Road.
- Widening Waipuna Road
- Carbine Road-SEART (South Eastern Arterial) intersection upgrade
- Waipuna Rd-SEART intersection upgrade
Quarry Link Road is planned as a boulevard. This view is looking south up Morrin Road from the Tainui-Quarry Link Road intersection.
